Ken Currie's paintings have a very haunting quality enhanced by there extreme realism. His subject matter is dark, the figures seem to be lit from within. The paintings have a timeless classical appearance. Almost reminiscent of renaissance painting. Perhaps in the future I would like to incorporate this almost hyper realism When i produce further paintings.
