Stuart describes this work as a psychedelic abstract with its roots in nature, that reflects historical painting. The back ground is inspired by Monets water lilies. The pallet is based on Hockney and Matisse . The foreground of a tree is on the cusp of the abstract and the representational.

With references to Hockney, Monet, psychedelia, West Indian and Aboriginal art the painting stems from Stuarts love of nature and the landscape. The painting is in acrylic and is built up in layers.

Peter Walland described the painting as a "beautiful" painting James Hutchinson said it was "psychedelic'. I myself think that this painting of Stuarts is a strong work and would like to see more of the same.
