Paul Nash (11th May-11th July 1946)was a british surrealist painter and war artist. Nash was one of the most important landscape artists of the 20th century. Nash is also known for his landscapes with elements such as burial mounds and iron age hill forts.

I like Nash's stylised renderings. His war art has a mechanical quality about it. This may reflect the mechanised world wars, where machinery played a part in war fair like never before. These works although surreal in nature have a cubist feel to them.
