I've almost finished my self portrait. it seems to combine cubist compositional elements with surreal/psychedelic painting techniques. I really enjoyed making this painting. The freedom with which Rendered this image is refreshing. I was not boged down with the technical constraints of traditional painting methodology. There was some talk at yesterdays group tutorial that the painting is the product of a drug related experience. This could not be further from the truth. Its more complicated than that.

My producing has inspired me to to produce a large triptych on 6 foot canvases. Painting on such a large scale should lead to very complex imagery and a level of detail unachievable on a smaller scale.

I feel that the work I've created in the last few years has led to this conseptual peek in my artistic out put
